Position Overview

WELL Labs is looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to work with our Communications team. The primary responsibility of this role is designing high-quality reports, complemented by creating scientific illustrations. The designer will also produce social media creatives and other graphic assets.

Job Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Type of Engagement: Full-time

Responsibilities

  1. Design high-quality research reports using Adobe InDesign, ensuring visually appealing, professional, and well-structured layouts.
  2. Create precise and engaging scientific illustrations in Adobe Illustrator.
  3. Develop social media posts, presentations and other creatives using Adobe Illustrator, Canva and Google Suite.
  4. Collaborate with researchers and communication teams to ensure all designs align with the organisation’s visual identity and goals.
  5. Deliver polished visual solutions under deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Skills, Qualifications & Eligibility

  1. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  2. Experience with Canva and Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides).
  3. Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  4. Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and information hierarchy.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently.
  6. Prior experience working in a similar design role, especially within research-focused environments.
  7. Based in Bengaluru.
  8. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
