Arjuna Srinidhi is a climate change adaptation and resilience expert with over 15 years of international experience. He is passionate about interdisciplinary work that brings together research, practice, and policy.

Arjuna has a PhD from Wageningen University, Netherlands, which focused on climate resilient development pathways for semiarid farming systems in India. His research resulted in several peer-reviewed publications across topics such as climate change adaptation, climate risk, watershed development and natural resource management. It has further informed policy discussions at the national and international levels.

Prior to his PhD, Arjuna spent a decade at the Watershed Organisation Trust in Pune where he steered its ecosystem-based adaptation work in rural India through a mix of implementation and applied research projects. He also has experience in tracking international climate change negotiations and working as an energy analyst in South East Asia, based in Singapore.

Arjuna holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a Bachelors’ degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is an avid runner, enjoys journaling, meditation and the occasional mug (or two) of chilled beer!
