Communications & Development
We are seeking a Media Archive Intern who will organise and log WELL Labs’ video and photo assets, and contribute to the Creative Commons, to improve public imagery around India and water.
Position Overview
WELL Labs’ Communications and Development team is looking for a creative and driven intern to help amplify our research insights and evidence-based practices through image and video archiving. This role is at the intersection of science communication, environmental research, and social innovation. The intern will also get an opportunity to contribute to the Creative Commons, and improve public imagery around India and water. If you are passionate about storytelling and media for social impact, this is the place for you.
Job Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)
Type of Engagement: Full-time internship
Duration: 2-3 months
Responsibilities
- Work on organising photos and videos and logging them in google sheets – transfer footage from drive to google photos, organise, rename and tag them
- Tag images for creative commons
- Subtitle past and current videos
- Assist in the production of audio-visual podcasts
- Assist in documenting and shooting events
Note: This list is tentative. The scope of work may change based on the candidate’s skills and interests.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Comfort with Google Workspace (Drive, Photos, Sheets) and a methodical approach to file naming conventions.
- Familiarity with tools like Premiere Pro, Riverside and Youtube
- Precision in tagging and understanding Creative Commons licensing
- An interest in making complex environmental data visually engaging.
