Gargi is a Qualitative Researcher with the Green Rural Economy project at WELL Labs. She leads the ABF playbooks creation endeavour to develop knowledge‐based resources to capture innovation for community development.
Gargi is a development practitioner and has been working with community-based organisations, migrants and rural poor across India. Prior to joining WELL Labs, she led field action projects with prominent livelihood development initiatives like Kudumbashree NRO and NRLM. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she helped curate the Let’s Reach Out Kerala Project, a psycho-social helpline in regional languages designed to aid stranded migrant workers across 11 Indian states.
With WELL Labs, she continues her journey to understand and solve complex problems arising around transforming livelihoods and environmental change.
