Urban Water

Gayathri is the Deputy Head in the Urban Water programme at WELL Labs.

She is an urban and regional planner passionate about understanding complex urban challenges, and solving them through sustainable, inclusive, and action-oriented approaches.

Gayathri graduated as an architect in 2010 and did her post-graduation in regional planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi in 2013. Before joining WELL Labs, she worked on developing inclusive frameworks and strategies at various scales to build climate-resilient, inclusive, and liveable cities. She has worked as a team member and lead in projects that are at the intersection of technology, urban planning, climate resilience, and governance. She also worlked at Integrated Design (INDE), Center for the Study of Science, Technology and Policy (Bengaluru), and Egis Geoplan (Bengaluru).
