Rural Futures

Ashima Chaudhary leads the Rural Futures programme at WELL Labs.

She has worked on policy advocacy for rainfed agriculture and food security for last 13 years. During her time at WASSAN, she engaged in piloting, designing and grounding of the Odisha Millets Mission and integrated farming. She has also worked on rainfed agriculture in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha through the RRA Network. She holds Bachelor’s from Delhi University and a Master’s from TISS, Mumbai.

She loves to understand food, culture and its relation with agroecology.
