Rural Futures
Siddharth works with the Rural Futures team at WELL Labs. He is a hydrogeologist with extensive experience working with civil society since 2009. He has fostered multi-stakeholder collaborations with academic institutions, government bodies, corporations and numerous civil society organisations. His expertise spans sectors like agriculture, drinking water, sanitation, groundwater quality, Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR), watershed and springshed management, urban groundwater, and climate resilience.
Siddharth is passionate about integrating groundwater science into water-related programmes to drive inclusive, resilient, and equitable groundwater management. His work is grounded in data analytics of aquifers and their socio-economic attributes.
At ACWADAM, he played a key role in designing and managing programmes, strengthening monitoring and evaluation, and leading GIS-based analyses. He also mentored young professionals in hydrogeological assessments, data analysis, and documentation, while conducting training programmes for civil society practitioners. As a part of his role at ACWADAM, Siddharth taught hydrogeology in postgraduate courses at Shiv Nadar University and Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai.
