Vivek is a consultant on the Green Rural Economy (GRE) project at WELL Labs. He helps users understand the need for a digital public good like GRE, which enables knowledge exchange for a green and local rural economy.

A social worker at heart, he uses his research skills to make a livelihood while striving to understand the interplay of environment and development.

Vivek has an academic background in life science and environment science, and engineering. He is interested in environment law, policy, economics and democratic governance, which he uses to actively engage in social service towards social and environmental issues in the western Himalayan region.
