    WELL Labs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangalore Water Supply And Sewerage Board (BWSSB), to address water and wastewater management in Bengaluru from 2025-2027.

    To address Bengaluru’s increasing demand for water, the BWSSB is assessing the reuse of treated wastewater for domestic, commercial, and lake recharge purposes in the city. WELL Labs has been appointed as an advisory institute in this regard. Through BWSSB’s datasets and WELL Labs’ expertise, we hope to:

    • document existing water and wastewater infrastructure in BWSSB’s jurisdiction;
    • analyse existing data to highlight key challenge areas, and opportunities for improvement;
    • assist BWSSB in conceptualising and monitoring pilot sites to test innovative solutions;
    • co-create a wastewater vision for the city that aligns with BWSSB’s strategic vision.

    We are grateful to Shri Sanath Kumar V (Chief Engineer (Design & QA), BWSSB) and Dr Dr. Ram Prasath Manohar (Chairman, BWSSB) for championing this partnership.
